অভয়নগর উপজেলা
অভয়নগর উপজেলা বাংলাদেশের যশোর জেলার অন্তর্গত একটি উপজেলা।
এই উপজেলার উত্তরে যশোর সদর উপজেলা ও নড়াইল সদর উপজেলা, দক্ষিণে খানজাহান আলী থানা, ডুমুরিয়া উপজেলা, দিঘলিয়া উপজেলা ও ফুলতলা উপজেলা, পূর্বে নড়াইল জেলার নড়াইল সদর উপজেলা ও কালিয়া উপজেলা, পশ্চিমে যশোর সদর উপজেলা ও মণিরামপুর উপজেলা।
অভয়নগর উপজেলা একটি পৌরসভা এবং ৮টি ইউনিয়ন নিয়ে গঠিত। পৌরনভার নাম- নওয়াপাড়া পৌরসভা। যেটা ৯টি ওয়ার্ড নিয়ে গঠিত।

যশোর জেলার অন্যাতম একটি নদী বন্দর এই উপজেলাতে অবস্থিত। যার মাধ্যমে প্রতিদিন শত শত কোটি টাকার পণ্য আমদানি ও রফতানি হয়। বাংলাদেশের অর্থনীতির চাকা সচল রাখতে এই নদী বন্দর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করছে। আমদানীকৃত পণ্যের মধ্যে সার,সিমেন্ট,পাথর,কয়লা,গম,ভূট্রা অন্যতম।
Abhaynagar Upazila
Abhaynagar Upazila is an upazila in Jessore district of Bangladesh.
Jessore Sadar Upazila and Narail Sadar Upazila are on the north of this upazila, Khanjahan Ali Thana, Dumuria Upazila, Dighlia Upazila and Fultala Upazila are on the south, Narail Sadar Upazila and Kalia Upazila of Narail district are on the east, Jessore Sadar Upazila and Manirampur Upazila are on the west.
Abhaynagar upazila consists of a municipality and 8 unions. Name of Municipality- Nawapara Municipality. Which consists of 9 wards.

One of the river ports of Jessore district is located in this upazila. Through which goods worth hundreds of crores of rupees are imported and exported every day. This river port is playing an important role in keeping the wheels of Bangladesh's economy moving. Fertilizers, cement, stone, coal, wheat, bhutra are among the imported products.
