রৌমারী উপজেলা বাংলাদেশের কুড়িগ্রাম জেলার একটি প্রশাসনিক এলাকা। এটি মুক্তাঞ্চল উপজেলা হিসেবে খ্যাত। কুড়িগ্রামের মূল ভূখণ্ডের সাথে এই উপজেলাটির কোনো সংযোগ সড়ক নেই, শুধু জল ভিত্তিক পরিবহন ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে। এই উপজেলাটি জামালপুর জেলার খুবই সন্নিকটে এবং ঢাকার সাথে যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা বেশ ভালো।
কুড়িগ্রাম জেলার দক্ষিণাংশে ২৫°২৭´ থেকে ২৫°৪৩´ উত্তর অক্ষাংশ এবং ৮৯°৪৫´ থেকে ৮৯°৫৩´ পূর্ব দ্রাঘিমাংশ জুড়ে রৌমারি উপজেলার অবস্থান। এ উপজেলার উত্তরে উলিপুর উপজেলা ও ভারতের আসাম, দক্ষিণে চর রাজিবপুর উপজেলা, পূর্বে ভারতের আসাম. পশ্চিমে চর রাজিবপুর উপজেলা, চিলমারী উপজেলা ও উলিপুর উপজেলা।
রংপুর জেলার অধীনে রৌমারী থানা গঠিত হয় ১৯০৮ সালে এবং ১৯৮৩ সালের ১ আগস্ট থানাকে উপজেলায় রূপান্তর করা হয়। এ উপজেলায় কোনো পৌরসভা নাই ও ৬টি ইউনিয়ন রয়েছে। উপজেলার ৬টি ইউনিয়নের প্রশাসনিক কার্যক্রম রৌমারী থানার আওতাধীন।
Roumari Upazila
Roumari Upazila is an administrative area of Kurigram District, Bangladesh. It is famous as free upazila. This upazila has no road connection with the mainland of Kurigram, only water based transport system. This upazila is very close to Jamalpur district and has good connectivity with Dhaka.
Roumari upazila is located in the southern part of Kurigram district between 25°27' to 25°43' north latitude and 89°45' to 89°53' east longitude. To the north of this upazila is Ulipur Upazila and Assam of India, to the south is Char Rajibpur Upazila, to the east is Assam of India. In the west Char Rajibpur Upazila, Chilmari Upazila and Ulipur Upazila.
Roumari Thana under Rangpur District was formed in 1908 and on August 1, 1983 the Thana was converted into an Upazila. There is no municipality in this upazila and there are 6 unions. The administrative activities of the 6 unions of the upazila are under the jurisdiction of Roumari police station.
